Thoughts on Death

"......seems at the end of every young black life it's this line damn him already. Such a good kid, got us pouring Hen already. Liquor to the curb for my n***as up above when it cracks through the pavement that's our way of showing love. So give BIG a hug and tell Aaliyah I said hi, until the next time I see you on the other side...." - JayZ

They say everything happens for a reason, whether we can see that reason or not, but at times like this I question that ideology. Maybe sh*t just happens sometimes for no reason at all. I can't begin to understand why someone took such a genuine person's life. Dennis was a good dude and this just proves that no matter how good of a person you are, or how you live your life, your tomorrow is never promised. Dennis, I will continue to keep your friends, family, and the Mu Psi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc in my prayers. Until the next time I see you on the other side.....

Breakfast at Hillary's.. Lacroix that is said...

I have been pondering and trying to come up with a logical explanation for the motivation of people who decide that they have the rights that only god possesses to take someones life.. i cant figure out for the life of me what kind of person that could be .. that person looks just like you and me and it is so hurtful because the devil is so crafty that he created his own to resemble that of a sane individual. I am still in shock and i too pray for the family and his brothers because at times like this the unknown is amongst us and if we dont stick together, pray together and love each other we wont be able to fight the devil who is hard at work to leave us feeling empty with questions...

although i didn't know him, it is always sad to hear about a person who's life was cut short...

i try not look at it as "what if's" and/or the "would have/could have" but rather how he lived...

a lot of ppl have been affected by this tragedy and he was able to touch a lot of ppl and you can see it on facebook and i'm sure you can see it on campus...this is a true testament to his life.

i send my prayers and condolences to his family & friends...
